# Get a link to connect an app

> Gives the user a link to connect Slack, Clay, Google Sheets, HeyReach, Instantly or Waalaxy to Ziplined. Returns a link where the user connects an app that syncs can send people to. The apps are Slack, Clay, Google Sheets (sheets), HeyReach, Instantly and Waalaxy. Give connect_url to the user; they sign in to Ziplined there. For Slack, they create an incoming webhook in Slack for the channel they want. Then they paste its URL on that page and give it a name such as #leads. One webhook is one channel. For HeyReach, Instantly and Waalaxy, they paste the app's API key. For Clay, they paste the webhook of a Clay table. For Google Sheets, they sign in to Google. Never ask the user for an API key, password or webhook URL yourself. The link works once, for this user, within 15 minutes. When the user says they are done, call list_destinations with this provider. Slack shows under destinations, the other apps under accounts.

Use when: The user wants people sent to Slack or to one of the outreach and export apps.

Do not use for: Webhook and email destinations, which need no link (use save_destination instead).

Example: {"provider":"slack"}
