# Overview

> How Ziplined pushes events to your own endpoint.

A webhook lets Ziplined call you instead of you polling us.

```
event  ->  rule  ->  delivery  ->  your endpoint
```

**Event.** Something happened: new engagement, a new post, a qualified lead, a finished run.

**Rule.** A routing rule on a destination says which events it wants, and how often.

**Delivery.** Every match is filed in a ledger, with its frozen payload.

**Your endpoint.** The delivery is POSTed to your HTTPS URL with a signature.

Everything on these pages needs scope `write`.
